"Painter to the Moon" by Chagall (1917)

This is a project for Yakov - Marc Chagall's "Painter to the Moon" (1917)

Ready for Yakov:

Before Lacquer...

First steps:

Ruti's Jerusalem table

This is the first table ever, and it was for a coworker named Ruti.
Her name is in Hebrew in the center of the board. Around the name is the Jerusalem skyline. The Art teacher helped me with the drawing (thanks Joy!)

Ludo Board v1

This table has a Ludo board.

After finishing the table, we bought some colorful rocks for the game.
My 5 years old child loves playing with it (with me or friends)
7 years later, we still have this table at home and my youngest daughter - Galia - already reads her first book there.

"Flat for Rent" v1 by Leah Goldberg

This table is based on a classic Israeli children's book called "Dirah Lehaskir" (Flat for Rent) by Leah Goldberg. The drawing is the old edition cover art. I added the first lines of the story.

The table is for Esti, who loves literature and Israeli culture.
